Southern Belle Riding is a training facility offering riding lessons, horse training and boarding. Ammie Lords is the trainer and runs the facility along with her husband Shawn Lords who both live and work on sight.  She has a BS degree in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary and over 30 years of horse experience that includes training, showing, and giving lessons. Clarissa Taggart is our assistant trainer/barn manager. She has been riding for over 15 years and has been working at SBR since 2017.  Kim Duffin is our apprentice trainer and has been with us since 2018. We work with  riders of all ages and levels specializing in English disciplines including Eventing,  Jumpers and Dressage along with basic horsemanship.
